The Financial Supervisory Authority approves the auditors to conduct the Romanian Balance Sheet Review
The list of the auditors appointed in compliance with the applicable legal framework to the respective participating insurance company is presented below.
The assessment of compliance with the auditors’ selection procedure performed by the Financial Supervisory Authority is supported by the Steering Committee recommendations. The Steering Committee, which oversees the Balance Sheet Review, includes representatives from the Financial Supervisory Authority and the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA).

For the insurance companies that are not included in the table above, the procedure under point 10.4 of the Invitation for Auditors for the Romanian BSR is still on going and the updated list will be published in the coming period.
Participating insurance companies shall ensure that contracts for the employment of the nominated auditors are concluded. All auditors’ fees entailed by the Balance Sheet Review will be paid by the respective participating company.
The field work of the auditors shall start on 2 December 2020.
